Boiled Green Pease Ingredients

As many peas as required
Butter
White Sugar
Mint


Boiled Green Pease Method

  Add a little salt and sugar to boiling water.

  Add the peas and boil them for 20 minutes.

  Drain off the water.

  Add butter generously to the dish and turn over the peas until they are well buttered.

  Boil a few sprigs of fresh mint by themselves; chop these fine, and lay in little heaps round the edge of the dish.
